Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to take on the role of a nominated first aider in the workplace and gives the delegate the necessary skills and information to deal with a variety of emergency situations. The course is designed to give delegates the necessary competence and confidence to deal with a range of illnesses and injuries in the workplace.

Aim

This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981 and other key legislation and UK protocols including company specific policies and procedures.

Learning Outcomes

Delegates will have a greater understanding of the theoretical and practical application of emergency first aid techniques in the workplace to suitable standard.

Delivery Method

A combination of classroom based activity, syndicate working , presentation/demonstrations and practical application. A wide range of video and photographic material is used to enhance the learning experience for delegates.

Assessment and Certification

Continued assessment process leading to certification on successfully completing the course.
